Scott qualified at the University of Liverpool in 1990 and has achieved a postgraduate masters degree at Manchester University as well as a diploma from Bristol University.

He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy and a General Dental Council registered specialist in prosthodontics, and regularly lectures dentists at postgraduate level.

​

Scott first worked as an associate in North Wales and then worked in a number of practices in Manchester before coming to Halton Road Dental Practice in 2003. 

​

In his spare time Scott enjoys motorsport and long-distance running, and has completed several marathons, including London, Manchester and Edinburgh.
